Failure Bikes signs Chad Kagy
Cincinnati, OH – Failure Bikes adds one of the most unique
and talented Vert and Park riders to its roster. Chad Kagy has joined
the Failure Team for 2007. Chad brings a level of riding to the
program that speaks for itself, proof be told since taking home
X Games Gold in last years Vert competition, appearing on the Tony
Hawk Boom Boom Huck Jam and being a top 3 vert competitor in the
Mountain Dew Action Sports Tour.

Chad
is one of the most progressive Vert and Park riders in BMX
today, and his list of accomplishments and non-stop schedule
is a testament to his dedication and love for BMX. Whether
its on a vert ramp at the X Games or just riding with friends
at Woodward Camp, Chad remains one of the most down to earth
guys we know, except for that part when he is upside down
10ft above the deck in front of 15,000 screaming fans on one
of those U ramps…Anyway everyone over here at Failure
is excited he is on the team! |
It's
an odd time in the industry when you can win the biggest comp
of the year and still can't get a bike sponsor... at least
a legit one that you would want to ride for. Lately it seems
like the only options are ride for a company that makes you
throw away self respect and morals with a paycheck or ride
for a company that is doing something to keep BMX alive in
the long run, the latter of the two makes you feel good about
associating yourself with that company but not making a ton
of money.... I'll take honesty with no up front cash promises
anytime. Good people make for good times. – Chad
Kagy
Kagy is a good friend of mine and seriously unbelievable
rider joining the Failure crew. We welcome him with open arms
and skulls. Chad rules and we can't wait to get him on a bike.
So check Chad out on our site and we will keep you posted
on all the crazy sh$! that he’s got going on this year.

Chad Kagy is
one of the nicest dudes I know and it’s going to rule having
him on the team. It’s also going to be awesome having a
vert rider on the team since the rest of the dudes are park and
street riders. Now I will have someone to ride vert with. hahahahaha...

About
Failure Bikes:
Matt Bischoff aka The Beard C.E.O. & Professional Beard competitor
started Failure Bikes in March of 2005 with a few frames and t-shirts.
Today Failure Bikes is growing faster than ever expected with
2 new frames in the works, a complete line of accessories, and
everything in between. As Matt would put it “Riding has
been a huge part of who I am. So many fun times with friends,
traveling, and meeting new people and seeing amazing places. Seeing
riding progress year after year, and being a part of it has ruled.
The one thing that has always made me psyched on BMX was having
fun. So with the relationships I have made and the people who
have helped me out, Failure Bike Company was born. It is about
good times, building quality bike products, hanging with friends
and not taking things too seriously, all while trying to have
fun in everything we do.”
