For how long have you been riding and how did you get into it?
I started riding in 2001. I skateboarded for a couple of years and met a guy riding a little bit bmx. I gave it a try and started with the standard flatland tricks and got addicted to this small bike.

You started out skateboarding. How has it influenced your riding?
It's quite similar, I think. I always preferred technical skating, like curb
and manual tricks, over big stunts. That's the reason why I now like to do
liptricks over jumpbox stuff.

So you're pro in skateboarding and BMX?
Ha ha, no, but i did have a skate sponsor back then.

Where do you get your motivation from?
It can be difficult in Vienna sometimes. There are only a few riders and
most of them prefer grinding :) and going backwards without pedaling!
There are only a few skateparks in Vienna and they are all kind of
small and shitty. Actually, everything is rubbish except for street, so I
really look forward to this new concrete skatepark in "Haetteldorf", which will hopefully open soon.
Anyway, I watch videos before going riding and I listen to music when I ride, which gets me motivated to ride. That's why you guys alwayy see me with my ipod.

And what's playing on your jukebox?
I love oldies. They're the best for riding. Otherwise a lot of different stuff.
Indie, indietronic, U.S. Hiphop, Atzen Hiphop and a good deal more. And
Drum 'n Bass for partying!!

What do you do besides riding?
I still have to serve my civil service for another two months. Afterwards I'll start my apprenticeship as an IT-engineer.

You are comparatively young. Have you already started thinking about your
future "after" bmx?
No, actually not at all. I just do my thing and make the best out of it.

I know that you love to play on your computer. What's your favorite game?
Bomberman on Nintendo!

The virtual insanity is not coming to an end. How many friends do you
have on myspace?
About 200. [Remark of the editor: 196!]
